Stephanie Severson, CVT
Stephanie started her veterinary career in Las Vegas as a teenager in 1995 and has remained in the field ever since. In 2001, she moved to Wisconsin to continue her undergraduate degree in pre-veterinary medicine. In 2005, she put graduate school on hold and became a licensed veterinary technician and a professional breeder/exhibitor of champion Saint Bernards. Throughout her career, Stephanie has worked in a very fast paced veterinary environment with a huge variety of routine and complicated case loads which has allowed her to develop a broad skill set and vast knowledge of veterinary medicine. She has worked in both day practice as well as emergency practice and is exceptionally proficient in anesthesia/surgery and dentistry. Stephanie joined Mission Veterinary Partners in January 2018 as their regional technical training supervisor, traveling to all the affiliated hospitals in the Wisconsin region to help train and provide advanced education for their technical teams. In additional to being Waukesha Walk-In’s Practice Manager, she also oversees Downtown Veterinary Clinic (Milwaukee) and St. Francis Animal Hospital (St. Francis). As a 24+ year veteran in the field, she believes in providing a high standard of care, quality customer service and treats every patient as if they were her own.
Jackie joined Waukesha Walk In as our Assistant Manager in August 2019. Her career as a veterinary technician began in 2007. Jackie has been very fortunate to work with great doctors and supportive staff over the past 12+ years to learn and improve her skill set and to make sure she is always able to give clients and their pets the best care at all times. Being able to learn and specialize in both canine and feline dental cleanings and procedures has been one the things she’s most enjoyed. She also has an extensive background in nutrition and prescription diets dedicated to improving and prolonging the lives of client’s pets. At the end of the day, she enjoys making a positive impact on not only the animals but their owners as well.
Outside of work, she enjoys life with her husband AJ and two wonderful kids, Austin and Madison. Her family also owns a 120 acre homestead in Northern Wisconsin that they visit whenever they can. At home she stays busy with 4 coonhounds, 5 cats, chickens and a duck. When she’s not working or spending time at home with family, she enjoys being outdoors as much as possible; hunting deer, bear, & other large game.
